NAF JUNIOR INTRO TEAM
1- Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their
membership for the current year. Junior Intro for teams of 4 riders, with 3
scores to count and for individuals
One team riders will ride Intro A, one team rider will ride Intro B, another
Prelim 1 and another Prelim 2

NAF JUNIOR INTRO A (2008)
TEAM & INDIVIDUAL
1A- FBHS, BHSI, BHSII not allowed. Rider cannot have competed at BE Novice or
Novice dressage or above in the current or previous calendar year BD or BRC.
Horses cannot have competed in Novice or above in the current or previous
competition year BD or BRC. 0 points at any level, no BE points

NAF INTRO PAIRS DRESSAGE TEST
3- Mixed Intro Pairs, for a pair of riders, Seniors and/or Juniors to ride a test
together. FBHS, BHSI, BHSII not allowed. Rider cannot have competed at BE
Novice or Elementary dressage or above in the current or previous calendar
year BD or BRC. Unlimited Prelim Points 0 points at Novice or above

To compete as a qualifier, entries by Thursday 26th May
ENTRY FEES: Classes 1a – d, 2 a - d £14.00/ £56.00 team entry + £10 pp prelim fee = £24 per individual per class
Class 3 - per pair £14.00 + £19 prelim fee = £33 per pair

Please remember that if you enter 2 classes as a combination, only 1 class is in a team, the other is individual. Please state on entry if you have a preference for ind/team if you want to enter 2.

The pairs entry does not state which test - I will ask. also the entry fee is for both, so please only 1 person enter and add details of other combination in notes, and sort entry fee between yourselves.

THIS EVENT IS BEING RUN UNDER BRITISH RIDING CLUB RULES 2022
All entrants must pay a pre entry at least 21 days before the date of the qualifier online using the BRC entry system.
https://brc.bhs.org.uk/select, Late prelim entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organiser with a late
surcharge. Late entries cannot be guaranteed therefore must not be paid for until approval from the organiser has
been sort.
If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of prelim entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is
moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be
approved at the original close of prelim entry.
All hats must have a visible AQUA BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing, to show
that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your
hat does not currently have one.
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with the current BRC Rulebook. There is also a checking
device on the BRC website.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
 The judges/stewards should be treated with respect and their decisions are final. Anyone found to be rude or
disrespectful to any official will be asked to leave the venue.
 No refunds will be made without a vet/doctor certificate, no refunds after close of entries.
 MMRC, the BHS, BRC and the land owners will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or accident to
person, animal or property.
 Dogs must be on leads at all times and all fouling must be removed.
 The judge’s decision and that of the BRC Official Steward is final. Any objections must be made in accordance
with BRC rule G14l.

 On the day, Secretary and area 5 officials will be based in the Equine Reception room.
 Riders will not be admitted to the working-in arena without hats that are checked and tagged by the
stewards.
 There are toilets located in the courtyard area by the lower car park.
 Hot and cold food available all day
The Intro Championships will be held 39 Sept – 2 October 2022.

 NO HORSES TO BE TIED TO TRAILERS OR LORRIES UNLESS SUPERVISED. Horses that are known to get
distressed when left in trailers/lorries MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES
 Day stables available on request £15 per box -arranged through the secretary
 NO hay nets to be tied outside of trailers or horseboxes.
 Please pick up any droppings your horse may leave behind tools and skip bucket can be found by the arena
