Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their
membership for the current year. Horses may have up to 35 prelim points. 0 points
at Novice or above. BHS Stage 4 Coach or above not permitted (a), (c) Rider
cannot have competed at BE Novice or Elementary Dressage or above in the
current or previous calendar year BD or BRC. Horses cannot have competed in
novice or above in the current or previous calendar year BD or BRC.

2 Junior Winter Novice Team and Individual Dressage Qualifier
Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their
membership for the current year. Junior Novice Winter Dressage, for teams of 4
riders, with 3 scores to count and for individuals (all team members are
automatically entered in the individual competition). One rider will ride either P2
(2016), P7 (2002), P12 (2005), P13 (2006) See eligibility rules below. See current

Open to Senior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their

permitted. Rider cannot have competed at BE Intermediate or Medium dressage or

ENTRY FEES £23 to include prelim fee
If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of prelim entry will remain.
However, if the qualifier is moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late
entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be approved at the original close of prelim
entry.
Entries for all classes close prompt at 9am on Friday 13th October 2023 (prelim fees paid by clubs 3 weeks prior)

to be held at Arena UK, Allington Lane, Allington, Grantham, NG32 2EF on 6TH – 7TH April 2024

PRIZES
• Rosettes to 6th in all classes – Please bring or post an A5 SAE with a “large” stamp if you
will not be here at the end of the class.

All hats must have a visible PINK BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up
and competing.
Your horse must have up to date Influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current
BRC Rulebook. There is a checking device on the BRC website. Passports must be emailed
prior to the event to a5passports@gmail.com
General Rules
HATS must be worn whenever mounted
ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature)
may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply
with safety standards for hats.
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and crosscountry events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. Body
protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider
chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body
protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets
and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced
once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform
the secretary at all events.
CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn.
ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over. ALL Riders to be 4 years old and
over.
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion,
cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is
final.
INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club,
Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.
Solihull Riding Club
HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to
ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective
everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and
must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those
attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event
Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the
outside of lorries or trailers.
Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all
times.
