Class 1 Natural Animal Feeds Junior 70cm Team and Individual Show Jumping Qualifier
Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from teams or
individuals. 0 BS points (0 BS Club Points gained at 90cm or higher) 0 BE
points (0 BE Foundation Points) Rider eligibility: Not to have completed a BE
90, BRC HT 90 or CH 90 or above in the current competition year at close of
prelim entry. Horse eligibility: Horses may not have completed a BE 100 or
above in the current or previous calendar year at close of prelim entry. Horses
may not have completed a BRC HT 90 or above in the same competition year.
Double clear points will be counted Riders who have competed in the
relevant discipline under FEI rules in the past 5 calendar year are ineligible

the current or previous calendar year at close of prelim entry. Double clear
points will be counted. Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline
under FEI rules in the past 5 calendar year are ineligible.

the current or previous calendar year at close of prelim entry. Double clear

Open to junior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from teams or
individuals. Horses may have up to 500 BS points, 20 BE points. Double clear
points will be counted. Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline
under FEI rules in the past 5 calendar year are ineligible

Class 7 Natural Animal Feeds Senior 90cm Team and Individual Show Jumping Qualifier
Open to Senior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from teams or
individuals. Horses may have up to 500 BS points, 20 BE points. Double clear
points will be counted. Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline
under FEI rules in the past 5 calendar year are ineligible

Class 8 Natural Animal Feeds Senior & Junior 100cm Team and Individual Show Jumping Qualifier
Open to senior & junior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from
teams or individuals. Teams can be mixed Juniors & Seniors, or all Seniors or
all Juniors. Horses may have up to 999 BS points, 60 BE points. Double clear
points will be counted. Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline
under FEI rules in the past 5 calendar year are ineligible.

Class 9 Natural Animal Feeds Senior & Junior 110cm Team and Individual Show Jumping Qualifier
Open to senior & junior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from
teams or individuals. Teams can be mixed Juniors & Seniors, or all Seniors or
all Juniors. Horses may have unlimited BS and BE points. Riders who have
completed under FEI Rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar
years are ineligible
Maximum height first round 1.10m, 2nd Rd 1.15cm, J/O 1.20cm

Open to junior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from teams or
individuals. Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline under FEI
rules in the past 5 calendar year are ineligible. Horses may be registered with
BE but must not have any BE points. Not to have completed a BE 100 or
above in the current or previous calendar year. Double clear points will be

Open to senior members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from teams or
individuals. . Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline under FEI

BE but must not have any BE points. Not to have completed a BE 100 or
above in the current or previous calendar year. Double clear points will be

TEAMS- Two riders to ride 11 A and two riders to ride 11B

Open to seniors members of an affiliated Riding Club. Entries from teams or
individuals. Horses up to 10 BE points. Double clear points will be counted.
Riders who have competed in the relevant discipline under FEI rules in the
past 5 calendar year are ineligible

QUALIFIERS FOR JUNIOR & SENIOR MEMBERS OF AFFILIATED RIDING CLUBS IN AREA 5.
COMBINATIONS may jump in up to two consecutive classes as part of a team, or as an individual, 70 &
80cm, 80 & 90cm, 90 & 100cm, or 100 & 110cm and the style jumping.

SJ FORMAT: Riders jump two rounds. Riders will jump the first round and then a second round. The
second round will be in two parts, the first part of the course will be the second round, followed by the
second part of the course which will be classed as the jump-off.
All competitors will go straight onto the jump-off without stopping. All team and individual members
will go forward to the second part of the second round (jump-off) unless eliminated. The first-round score
and the second-round score will be combined to gain the total score. The jump-off section will only be
used where there are ties for equality. The second round will be scored as two parts, so for example a
rider who goes clear in the first part, then accrues four faults in the second part (jump-off) will be placed
above a rider who accrued four faults in the first part, regardless of times or faults recorded in the second
part of the round

 A full copy of vaccination certificate must be seen by the chief steward before the competition for
each horse/pony’s entry. All horses MUST have been vaccinated within 12 months of the
competition and not within the 7 days prior to the event.
 Qualifies for the BRC National Championship 3rd – 4th September 2022
 Passport copies and Declaration sheets must be with Tony Parker NO LATER THAN Friday 29th
July at 6pm

Refunds: After the closing date, no refunds can be made. All refunds must be done so through your team
manager directly.

WARM UP ARENAS – ONLY THE NEXT 2 TEAMS TO COMPETE WILL BE ALLOWED INTO
THE WARM UP ARENA
Pre Entries - All entrants must pay a pre entry per team, and per individual to British Riding Clubs by 8th July 2022.

If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of pre-entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is
moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be
considered from the original close of pre-entry date.

All hats must have a visible AQUA BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing. There
will be a trained steward at the competition who is able to tag your hat for you if it doesn’t already have one.
All horses MUST be vaccinated in line with Rule G7 of the 2022 rule book. They MUST have been vaccinated
within 12 months of the competition and not within the 7 days prior to the event. There is a checking device

Tack and Dress Rules
Please make sure you adhere to tack and dress rules found in the current version of the BRC rules. The full 2022
Rulebook is available to download online. If you have a query regarding these rules, please ring contact Tony
Parker or Val Malka for guidance.
General Rules:
“Rules for Official Competitions 2022”.
HATS must be worn whenever mounted and conform to PAS015 (1998 or 2011). VG01.040 2014-12. with a BSI Kite
mark or Inspec IC mark ASTM F1163.2004a onwards with SEI mark SNELL E2001 or 2016 (No additional mark
required)
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and crosscountry events and are also
strongly recommended for all show jumping events. A BETA Level 3 (Purple label) which has a 2009 label or 2018
Blue label must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a
rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if
activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted.
It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body
Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.
CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn.
ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over.
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or
amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.
INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD,
BE or independent cover.
HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety
of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid
and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event
Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers.
Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
