1 Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their
membership for the current year. Junior Intro for teams of 4 riders, with 3 scores to
count and for individuals
One team riders will ride Intro A, one team rider will ride Intro B, another Prelim 1
and another Prelim 2

2 BHS Stage 4 Coach or above (a), (c) Rider not to have competed Novice Dressage BD,
BRC, or BE 100 in current or previous calendar year. Not to have competed
Elementary Dressage BD, BRC or BE Novice or above in the last 3 calendar years.
Combinations not to have been placed 1st in their arena at Intro Dressage/Riding
Test or above at any BRC Championship the last 3 calendar years (a) (c)

NAF MIXED INTRO PAIRS 1 (2022) DRESSAGE TEST
11 Mixed Intro Pairs, for a pair of riders, Seniors and/or Juniors to ride a test together
BHS Stage 4 Coach or above not permitted Rider cannot have competed at BE
Novice or Elementary dressage or above in the current or previous calendar year BD
or BRC. Unlimited Prelim Points 0 points at Novice or above.

ENTRY FEES: Classes 1 – 9 £15.00 + £11 prelim fee = £26 per class
Classes 11 £22.00 per pair + £21 prelim fee = £33 per pair

THIS EVENT IS BEING RUN UNDER BRITISH RIDING CLUB RULES 2023
All entrants must pay a pre entry at least 21 days before the date of the qualifier online using the BRC entry system.
https://brc.bhs.org.uk/select, Late prelim entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organiser with a late surcharge.
Late entries cannot be guaranteed therefore must not be paid for until approval from the organiser has been sort.
If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of prelim entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is moved
more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be approved at the
original close of prelim entry.
All hats must have a visible PINK BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing, to show that it
meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not
currently have one.
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with the current BRC Rulebook. There is also a checking device
on the BRC website.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
 The judges/stewards should be treated with respect and their decisions are final. Anyone found to be rude or
disrespectful to any official will be asked to leave the venue.
 No refunds will be made without a vet/doctor certificate, no refunds after close of entries.
 MMRC, the BHS, BRC and the land owners will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or accident to person,
animal or property.
 Dogs must be on leads at all times and all fouling must be removed.
 The judge’s decision and that of the BRC Official Steward is final. Any objections must be made in accordance with BRC
rule G14l.

 On the day, Secretary and area 5 officials will be based in the Equine Reception room.
 Riders will not be admitted to the working-in arena without hats that are checked and tagged by the stewards.
 There are toilets located in the courtyard area by the lower car park.
 Hot and cold food available all day
The Intro Championships will be held 29 Sept – 1 October 2023.

 NO HORSES TO BE TIED TO TRAILERS OR LORRIES UNLESS SUPERVISED. Horses that are known to get distressed when
left in trailers/lorries MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES
 Day stables available on request £15 per box -arranged through the secretary
 NO hay nets to be tied outside of trailers or horseboxes.
 Please pick up any droppings your horse may leave behind tools and skip bucket can be found by the arena
