Class 1 - TOPSPEC Junior Dressage to Music Prelim Section (Qualifier)

FBHS, BHSI, BHSII not allowed. Rider cannot have competed at BE Novice or Elementary dressage or above in the current or previous calendar year BD or BRC. Horses cannot have competed in elementary or above in the same competition year BD or BRC. No horse may have been placed first to third in DTM Novice or above (BD or BRC) in the current or previous calendar year. Unlimited Prelim Points 0 points at Novice or above Test: BD Prelim Freestyle to Music 2016.

Class 2 - TOPSPEC Junior Dressage to Music Novice Section (Qualifier)

Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their membership for the current year. Unlimited Novice Points Up to 35 Elementary Points 0 points at Medium or above. Horses cannot have competed in elementary or above in the same competition year BD or BRC Test: BD Novice Freestyle to Music 2019.

Class 3 - TOPSPEC Senior Dressage to Music Prelim Section (Qualifier)

Horses may have unlimited Elementary points , up to 35 Medium points, 0 points at Adv. Medium or above. Riders who have competed under FEI rules in last 5 years not permitted. Test: BD Elementary Freestyle to Music 2019.

Class 6a - TOPSPEC Dressage to Music Pick a Test Medium/Advanced Medium Section (Qualifier)

Open to Senior and Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their membership for the current year. Horses in the Medium section may have unlimited Medium points, up to 35 total points at Adv. Medium or above. Test: BD Medium Freestyle to Music 2016.

Class 6b - TOPSPEC Dressage to Music Pick a Test Medium/Advanced Medium Section (Qualifier)

Open to Senior and Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their membership for the current year. Unlimited Adv. Medium Points Up to 50 total points at Advanced or above Test: Advanced Medium Freestyle to Music 2016.

ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN A 20 X 60 ARENA INDOORS PENDING ANY ALTERATION TO GOVERNMENT CV-19 RESTRICTIONS Warm up will be restricted to 5 riders at a time plus 1 steward (2ND indoor arena & possible additional use of part of outdoor arena if required

ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

The judges/stewards should be treated with respect and their decisions are final. Anyone found to be rude or disrespectful to any official will be asked to leave the venue.  No refunds will be made without a vet/doctor certificate, no refunds after close of entries.

SRC, the BHS, BRC and the landowners will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or accident to person, animal or property.  Dogs must be on leads at all times and all fouling must be removed.

The judge’s decision and that of the BRC Official Steward is final. Any objections must be made in accordance with BRC rule G14.l  Only takeaway catering will be available. Notes

On the day, Secretary and area 5 officials will be based in the Entries Office (one way system)

There will be no hat tagging - please make sure your hat is up to the current BRC standards which can be found on the BRC website https://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-ridingclubs/brc-downloads and click on hat tagging guide for competitors.

All passports need to be received by the official steward PRIOR to the event for checking. If the passport is not received and approved by 6pm on Saturday 1st August that competitor will Page 3 of 3 be unable to compete. There will be no passport checking on the day, but please remember it is a legal requirement to travel with your horse's passport.

Numbers will not be supplied, please use your own bridle / saddlecloth numbers (on both sides) or print your own number off and wear in your own bib. No numbers will be supplied on the day.

Please ensure all horses are entered under their passport names DO NOT USE stable names.

The Dressage to Music Championships will be held 2 – 4 October 2020. At Addington Equestrian, Addington, Buckingham, MK18 2JR

HORSES

NO HORSES TO BE TIED TO TRAILERS OR LORRIES UNLESS SUPERVISED. Horses that are known to get distressed when left in trailers/lorries MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES

NO hay nets to be tied outside of trailers or horseboxes.

Please pick up any droppings your horse may leave behind tools and skip bucket can be found by the arena gate/doors. MUSIC

All DTM competitors are required to be current BD music members and all music is to be licensed and correctly labelled. See BRC rule book for current rules on CD labelling.

All music is to be handed into the secretary at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled time of the test.

Music delivery and collection – the music needs to be in a plastic bag with the riders name, horses name and rider number and class.

COVID-19 precautions

You must not attend site if you, or any of those travelling with you, or anyone from your household is exhibiting any symptoms of being unwell.

Social distancing of 2 meters or more must be strictly adhered to at all times.

Please only bring one member of your household with you.

We will not accept anyone just “turning up”. No person is to access any other part of the site other than the main car park to the outdoor arena or second indoor arena.

The main building will be closed to visitors.

There will not be a scoreboard.

Results will only be available online and sheets posted out to competitors.

No person should enter any other Lorry or car/trailer, or move close to any other rider, client, instructor, official or member of staff or any other member of the public at any time.

You will have an allotted time for your test, please only arrive on site a maximum of 1.25 hours before your time and leave as promptly as possible afterwards, to ensure limited numbers on site at any time.

Please do not enter the warm up arena more than 45 minutes before your allotted time.

There may be limited toilet facilities available on site and please ensure you bring an adequate supply of water for you and your horse.

Government guidelines could change quickly at any time; therefore Solihull Riding Club reserve the right to close site at short notice. NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED, please only have ONE person to help you with your horse.
