Hats & Safety
All hats must have a visible AQUA BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing
to show that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do
this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current rule
book.
Vaccinations
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Rule Book.
There is also a checking device on the BRC website.

This competition will be run under British Riding Club Rules. It is important that all competitors

Rules for Official Competitions 2022
- Protective head gear as specified in the BHS Riding Club “Rules for Official Competitions” 2022 must be
worn by everyone mounted whether competing or not. Failure to do so will result in elimination. The
wearing of a back / body protector as specified in the BHS Riding Club “Rules for Official Competitions
2022” is recommended for show jumping
- All Horses / ponies must be 4 years old or over
- A horse may only compete once as part of a team and once as an individual or twice as an individual and
at either height provided the dressage tests are different
- If a combination are eliminated from one phase this will result in elimination from the other
- Objections to be made in writing to the organisers accompanied by a deposit of £10 which will be refunded if the objection is upheld
- Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times
- Alvechurch Riding Club and Solihull Riding Club and anyone acting on their behalf shall not be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss or damage to or by horses, ponies, competitors, spectators or any
persons, animals or property whatsoever
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry at their discretion, cancel or amend any class for any
reason whatsoever
- No entrant shall be entitled to the return of any entry fee after closing date other than on production of
the appropriate Veterinary or Medical Certificate and at the organisers discretion.
Health & Safety
The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For
these measures to be effective please take all relevant precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and
must obey the instructions of organisers and SRC staff.
Dogs
Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times and SRC have a poop scoop policy in operation. Please use the
bins provided
Rubbish
Please take all your rubbish home with you and do not muck out your trailer or lorry on the SRC Grounds
