AREA 5 SHOW JUMPING POINTS COMPETITION

Class 1 ~ Senior 70cm Show Jumping – Teams & Individuals
First phase Max height 70cm, max spread 75cm, max spread triple bar 90cm. Second phase max height 75cm, No BS or BE
foundation points. Horses may not have been placed in the top six at BE 90 or to have completed a BE 100 or above in the
current or previous calendar year. Horses may not have completed a BRC HT 90 or above in the same competition year.
No horse may compete at 90cm SJ or above at Novice Winter Championships area qualifier or championship.
Class 2 ~ Junior 70cm Show Jumping – Teams & Individuals
First phase Max height 70cm, max spread 75cm, max spread triple bar 90cm. Second phase max height 75cm, No BS or BE
foundation points. Horses may not have been placed in the top six at BE 90 or to have completed a BE 100 or above in the
current or previous calendar year. Horses may not have completed a BRC HT 90 or above in the same competition year.

Class 4 ~ Junior 80cm Show Jumping – Teams & Individuals
First phase height 80cm, max spread 85cm, max spread triple bar 1.0m, height of first two fences not to exceed 75cm.

Class 5 ~ Senior 90cm Show Jumping Team & Individuals
First phase maximum height 90cm, maximum spread 95cm, maximum spread of triple bar 1.15m, the height of the first
two fences must not exceed 85cm. Second phase maximum height 95m Up to 500 BS points & 20 BE points
Class 6 ~ Junior 90cm Show Jumping Team & Individuals
First phase maximum height 90cm, maximum spread 95cm, maximum spread of triple bar 1.15m, the height of the first
two fences must not exceed 85cm. Second phase maximum height 95m Up to 500 BS points & 20 BE points
Class 7 ~ Mixed 100cm Show Jumping Team & Individuals
Open to Junior and senior riders. First phase maximum height 100cm, maximum spread 1.05m, maximum spread of triple
bar 1.30m, the height of the first two fences must not exceed 95cm. Second phase maximum height 1.05m. Up to 999 BS
points & 60 BE points.
Class 8 ~ Mixed 110cm Show Jumping Team & Individuals
Open to junior and senior riders. First phase maximum height 110cm, maximum spread 1.15m, maximum spread of triple
bar 1.45m, the height of the first two fences must not exceed 100cm. Second phase maximum height 1.15m. Unlimited BS
points & BE points.
One round will be jumped
Number of fences: 5-7 fences in each section (maximum 12 fences overall).
The competitor will jump the whole course unless they are eliminated.
Faults to be accumulated over both phases, Second phase against the clock.
The second phase must include at least five additional obstacles. The height of the second phase will be set
higher than those set for the first phase and be against the clock.
Team rounds will also count as individuals in their class.
Competitors can compete in up to two classes, 70cm, 80cm / 80cm, 90cm/90cm, 100cm/100cm, 110cm, both
of which can be part of a team and one as an individual, or both as an individual the courses will change
between rounds.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL HATS MUST BE TAGGED WITH A PINK HAT TAG BEFORE COMPETING.
TEAM MANAGERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENTER THEIR TEAM RIDERS ON ONE ENTRY (names can be changed
or added later), AND MUST INCLUDE THE TEAM NAME. INDIVIDUALS MUST INCLUDE THEIR CLUB WHEN
ENTERING.

50% refund before close of entry. No refunds after close of entries.

· Class start times & individual jumping times will be emailed to team managers, and will be available on the
Warwickshire College Facebook page, or Warwickshire College Competitions, Events and Riding Club,
